Whether you follow the Law Of Attraction, Joe Vitale, Abraham, The Secret or what ever messenger you choose, you will have to wonder who was first. They all seem to deliver the same message, just in their own words and with their own spin. Sometimes I feel like they all read some else's program and then created their own just in a different package.
The two I find the most deceiving is Jerry & Esther Hicks. They were Amway Diamond level recruiters. Jerry gave his inspirational speeches to his group and used the lines and ideas that Abe uses now.The only problem is that there was no Abe back then. The two of them were just running their Diamond level Amyway groups. They were married to others when they met and then divorced their previous partners and then married.
Amyway went belly up and suddenly they go as far as acting like she is channeling information from Abe which interestingly is the same as all the other messengers. She just delivers the same answers time after time after time. No matter how many time different lectures you listen to, "the guides" she is channeling use the same lines. They tour the country in their half million dollar bus and share the same old tired "channeled" lines.
I've bought all the books, bought the CD's and paid for the lectures only to walk away with the same information again and again. Notice how no one tells you how to release the past, how to let go. Once again I feel like I was used to support some marketing guru's extravagant lifestyle at my expense.
When I found the Sedona Method, I immediately thought " Oh her we go again". But then I realized that this was discovered over 50 years ago.
The Sedona Method site states "T he Sedona Method was discovered over 50 years ago by Lester Levenson. He was a successful entrepreneur and physicist, but he still felt unhappy and unhealthy. At the age of 42 he was experiencing depression, enlarged liver, spleen trouble, ulcers, hyperacidity and kidney stones. I have suffered from kidney stones myself and they are no fun. The worse pains I have ever had have come from kidney stones and I have spent a lot of time in the emergency room waiting to be seen for a kidney stone. So I can really relate to that part of the troubles Mr. Levenson was suffering from. The troubles for him had got so bad, that eventually doctors just sent him to an apartment in New York City to die. Lester didn’t want to go out that way and decided not to give up and fight all that was wrong with him. So at his New York City apartment he did some serious soul-searching. He learned that the ultimate tool for personal growth; was a way of letting go of all inner limitations. These basics are still being applied today with the Sedona Method. After a short time he began to feel healthy again and his system had work. Now instead of on the brink of death, Lester Levenson lived to the old-ripe age of 84 (42 years longer than doctors had predicted for him)."
Makes you wonder if the so called " Guru's" of today had studied the Sedona Method and then created their own Empires from this program. The problem is that they have just made it more complicated then it needs to be.
The Sedona Method is so simple and actually teach us how to release the past. How to let go of our pains, our hurts and our disappointments.
The Sedona Method has personally helped me with my goal setting as well as my health. It helps me daily to relax like I have never relaxed before and all the while staying grounded.
With the Sedona method, you’re asking yourself a series of 3 questions: “Would I”, “Could I”, “When”. Each answer should either be “Yes” or “No”. Aside from that, there are no right or wrong answers! Your subconscious will quickly learn and know exactly how to let go. No more guessing.
The logic behind this program is that we do one of three things with our feelings:
Suppress them, bottle them up, let our stomach tie itself in knots and our stress levels go through the roof.
Express them, get angry – usually with those that we love the most.
Let them drift away.
The first option does us no good and is why we attract dis-ease.
The second option usually does us some good but it isn’t much fun to be on the receiving end of.
The third option is the best all round. The Sedona Method will teach you how to practice this with ease.
In the class they tell us to take a pen in your hand. They have you use this as a simple analogy for feelings.
Grip the pen tighter and tighter until you can feel it. Is it uncomfortable?
Then open your hand and let the pen roll around. It does that quite happily!
Now turn your hand over and hear the satisfying thud as the pen hits the floor.
You can do exactly the same with your feelings. For feelings, read anything from apathy, grief, jealousy, anger, pride, through to courageousness or peace… Anything from the driver who’s just cut you up to the satisfaction of getting your latest project out perfectly.
And that’s the Sedona method.
I can honestly say this program finally answers so many of the questions that the others promised to do but never ever came through. No more wondering, no more worrying about buying the next program, the next book, etc.
Do I regret buying all the other programs? Not really. It only made me that much wiser to know that The Sedona Method is the real deal and not just another marketing master's program.

What Is The Sedona Method
Ever wonder what the Sedona Method is? I had heard about it but never really took the time to look into it. Once I did, I realized that this is the program that so many of the other so called" Spiritual Guru''s" are simply copying and putting their own spin on it and claiming it to be their inspiration that discovered it.
Here is a video to give you an over view of the program:
The Sedona Method was created by a man named Lester Levenson. It is taught in its current form primarily by Hale Dwoskin and Sedona Method facilitators. There are myriad ways to apply the Method which essentially boils down to a 6 Step formula for having, doing or being literally anything in life.
To explain it easier, you can read this article about it.
"Also known as The Release Technique (under Larry Crane), a main idea for putting the Sedona Method into practice is to understand that "feelings are just feelings and you can let them go" and that beneath feelings which could be categorized under the emotional states of apathy, grief, fear, lust, anger and pride is an ever-present underlying sense of courageousness, acceptance and peace which can be tapped at any moment by choice and decision to do so.
Taking The Abundance Course is one way of learning the Sedona Method. There are both similarities and differences in the teaching styles of the two facilitators mentioned above. The rest of this article amalgamates information from both the above facilitators so that the reader can release on any feeling, goal, issue or desire, in moments from now...
Feelings are just feelings, they are not us, and we can let them go. This can be illustrated by the child who falls over and doesn't cry when playing, just brushes themself off and carries on. But if eye-contact is made with the child, chances are they will put on a show of tears. As children, we have the natural ability to let go. As we grow up, we "learn to forget" and the Sedona Method in part is a relearning of this inherent ability that we have - to let go and be ourselves once more.
The basic "releasing method" incorporates three basic questions that can be applied to any situation in your life whether that is a goal, a challenge or a desire. Take a moment to look inside and allow yourself just to feel whatever it is that you are feeling in this moment. The first question that you can put to yourself is "Could I let that feeling go?" The answer can be "yes" or "no" - take whatever comes up for you. "Could you?" means "are you able to?". Yes or no are both acceptable answers. Be open to the fact that you may be able to let go of all your feelings, even if you are skeptical or have been holding on to a particular person, place, thing or memory because
it has seemed to be beneficial or "right" for you to do so. You will find that as you let go, you "lose" nothing, only you gain more lightness, happiness and peace...
Larry Crane recommends that you disengage your "head" - your thinking - and see how you feel in the feelings center which is your stomach or chest - is there a tension or a clutching to be found there? If so, could you let it go?. You can imagine inserting an imaginary tube in to where the feeling is located, uncapping the tube and allowing the feeling to shoot out! (The Method is supposed to be fun!) Or imagine opening an imaginary door in the area and allowing the feeling to pass through the door - like clouds through the sky, or smoke up and out a chimney flue. Also you could put your hand on your stomach or chest.
Hale Dwoskin suggests you could imagine seeing a knot unraveling in the area of the feeling, or clenching your fist over your solar plexus and loosening/relaxing your fingers and hand as you let go. Alternatively you can experiment with diving into the feeling and at the very core perhaps is a white light. So allow yourself to feel whatever you're feeling in this moment...
And could you let it go? Just could you? ... Would you? (this second question means "am I willing to let it go?"...When? (the third question is an invitation to let go of the feeling right now, here in this moment). And just let go as best you can. Focus inside again on whatever you are feeling, in this moment, about your goal, about your challenge or issue...
And could you let that feeling go?
Would you if you could?
When?
And again, allow yourself to focus inside and check to see what you are feeling in this moment about your goal, desire or challenge? And could you allow yourself to let it go? ... Would you allow yourself to let it go? ... When?
If you answer "no" to the second question, "would you?", you may notice a feeling that you are stuck. If so, you can ask, "would I prefer to have this stuckness or would I prefer to be free?" and just let go as best you can on the stuckness. You could also ask "could I let go of wanting to change the stuckness?" and let go of the wanting to change it.
This is the basic premise of the Release Technique - could you? would you? When? ... The Sedona Method is profound and can bring about positive and empowering effects very quickly, even those which may have been longstanding."

Louise Hay's Affirmation Card Decks
Louise Hay's teaches us of the importance of saying, visualizing and writing affirmations each day. It helps us stay focused on the end result. The thing we want to manifest in our life the most.
Louise has several popular affirmation card decks to choose from and they focus on various concerns. I have a small healing deck but there are others including the powerful forgiveness cards and affirmations for a stress free life but there are many others. Each one has a beautiful picture and a loving, positive thought to serve as reminders for me. I keep a few by my desk each day and whenever I glance at them, I recite the affirmation and help reprogram my thoughts into the "knowing" that this will be manifested soon.
It helps me know where they fear comes from and allows me to work on releasing it. Releasing is the key to removing the blocks that keep us from attaining our dreams, goals, health, etc.
Whether you choose to do mirror work and say your affirmations in the mirror each day, or you write out your affimations (Louise suggests 20 times for each one, each day)or you buy a deck of Louise's cards, just say them and say them as often as you can. Make it part of your daily routine and soon you will be experiencing exactly what you were affirming .

Manifest your Dreams in 2008 with Wayne Dyers Meditation (Japa)
Perhaps you want 2008 be the year you manifested your dreams. Well here is a great tool that I have been using for awhile now. It's meditations for manifesting. It's called Japa meditation and Wayne Dyer presents it in this CD. It's a meditation that is done in the morning "AH" and a different one "OM" at night before going to bed. Wayne does a wonderful job explaining the concepts as well as doing the meditation.
I have been doing this and it is actually amazing the things that have transpired since using it. Things are manifesting quicker than before. It's great. I would highly recommend using this meditation to help with things that you want to accomplish or acquire into your life. Go ahead and give it a try and see what you will manifest from it. Make 2008 the year that you create!
