Whether you follow the Law Of Attraction, Joe Vitale, Abraham, The Secret or what ever messenger you choose, you will have to wonder who was first. They all seem to deliver the same message, just in their own words and with their own spin. Sometimes I feel like they all read some else's program and then created their own just in a different package.
The two I find the most deceiving is Jerry & Esther Hicks. They were Amway Diamond level recruiters. Jerry gave his inspirational speeches to his group and used the lines and ideas that Abe uses now.The only problem is that there was no Abe back then. The two of them were just running their Diamond level Amyway groups. They were married to others when they met and then divorced their previous partners and then married.
Amyway went belly up and suddenly they go as far as acting like she is channeling information from Abe which interestingly is the same as all the other messengers. She just delivers the same answers time after time after time. No matter how many time different lectures you listen to, "the guides" she is channeling use the same lines. They tour the country in their half million dollar bus and share the same old tired "channeled" lines.
I've bought all the books, bought the CD's and paid for the lectures only to walk away with the same information again and again. Notice how no one tells you how to release the past, how to let go. Once again I feel like I was used to support some marketing guru's extravagant lifestyle at my expense.
When I found the Sedona Method, I immediately thought " Oh her we go again". But then I realized that this was discovered over 50 years ago.
The Sedona Method site states "T he Sedona Method was discovered over 50 years ago by Lester Levenson. He was a successful entrepreneur and physicist, but he still felt unhappy and unhealthy. At the age of 42 he was experiencing depression, enlarged liver, spleen trouble, ulcers, hyperacidity and kidney stones. I have suffered from kidney stones myself and they are no fun. The worse pains I have ever had have come from kidney stones and I have spent a lot of time in the emergency room waiting to be seen for a kidney stone. So I can really relate to that part of the troubles Mr. Levenson was suffering from. The troubles for him had got so bad, that eventually doctors just sent him to an apartment in New York City to die. Lester didn’t want to go out that way and decided not to give up and fight all that was wrong with him. So at his New York City apartment he did some serious soul-searching. He learned that the ultimate tool for personal growth; was a way of letting go of all inner limitations. These basics are still being applied today with the Sedona Method. After a short time he began to feel healthy again and his system had work. Now instead of on the brink of death, Lester Levenson lived to the old-ripe age of 84 (42 years longer than doctors had predicted for him)."
Makes you wonder if the so called " Guru's" of today had studied the Sedona Method and then created their own Empires from this program. The problem is that they have just made it more complicated then it needs to be.
The Sedona Method is so simple and actually teach us how to release the past. How to let go of our pains, our hurts and our disappointments.
The Sedona Method has personally helped me with my goal setting as well as my health. It helps me daily to relax like I have never relaxed before and all the while staying grounded.
With the Sedona method, you’re asking yourself a series of 3 questions: “Would I”, “Could I”, “When”. Each answer should either be “Yes” or “No”. Aside from that, there are no right or wrong answers! Your subconscious will quickly learn and know exactly how to let go. No more guessing.
The logic behind this program is that we do one of three things with our feelings:
Suppress them, bottle them up, let our stomach tie itself in knots and our stress levels go through the roof.
Express them, get angry – usually with those that we love the most.
Let them drift away.
The first option does us no good and is why we attract dis-ease.
The second option usually does us some good but it isn’t much fun to be on the receiving end of.
The third option is the best all round. The Sedona Method will teach you how to practice this with ease.
In the class they tell us to take a pen in your hand. They have you use this as a simple analogy for feelings.
Grip the pen tighter and tighter until you can feel it. Is it uncomfortable?
Then open your hand and let the pen roll around. It does that quite happily!
Now turn your hand over and hear the satisfying thud as the pen hits the floor.
You can do exactly the same with your feelings. For feelings, read anything from apathy, grief, jealousy, anger, pride, through to courageousness or peace… Anything from the driver who’s just cut you up to the satisfaction of getting your latest project out perfectly.
And that’s the Sedona method.
I can honestly say this program finally answers so many of the questions that the others promised to do but never ever came through. No more wondering, no more worrying about buying the next program, the next book, etc.
Do I regret buying all the other programs? Not really. It only made me that much wiser to know that The Sedona Method is the real deal and not just another marketing master's program.
